Looking for something fun to do with the family? Saturday Sports is a free, two-hour community program held on the first and third Saturdays of each month at Jackson Elementary School, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Enjoy neighborhood games, activities, and good company—lunch is provided, and children and families of all ages are welcome!

Today, We Honor Our Veterans. Jackson CDC joins the community in observing Veterans Day, a time to recognize and thank all who have served in the armed forces.

Reminder: There is no school today in observance of the holiday.

our community partners The Greenfield Coalition are hosting a Press Conference at City Hall on Thursday morning to advocate against SEDA and for a more prosperous Fresno. When we showed up at the Planning Commission in May it really made an impact, so I hope many of us can be there to show our elected officials that we really care about this!

ArtHop Downtown

Date: The first & 3rd Thursday of every month
Time: 5 pm - 9 pm

• For artists and handmade craft vendors wanting to set up on Fulton Street from Inyo to Calaveras, apply through the Fresno Arts Council here. Please read through the entire application to make sure you are eligible.

• For all vendors and food trucks/booths on Fulton between Mono and Inyo, please contact Fresno Street Eats at fresnostreeteats@gmail.com.

Play Music on the Porch Day, observed on the last Saturday of August, encourages communal music enjoyment. Participation is easy: assemble friends, choose an outdoor location, and play music.

Envision a day dedicated solely to music, halting all regular listening activities. This concept materialized in 2018 with musicians from 59 countries and over 675 cities participating.
